What is reality in movies nowadays? With CGI becoming such an influential part of movies it's becoming more and more difficult to know what's computer made and what's real.

 

I took a picture of a mug and I made a copy of it in Maya, making it as similar as possible. An exercise to understand lighting and real objects as well as compositing techniques to trick the eye.
